I've had the most wonderful parent volunteers this year and gave them these little
thank you gifts. Honestly, I would never make it without them!
I found the the ribbon and flower at Michael's craft store. The tumbler and
million dollar mints are from Dollar Tree. Simply tie the ribbon around the tumbler and hot
glue the flower on. I taped the tag to one of the flower petals.
I also made these:

I purchased all of this from Dollar Tree!
Be sure to ask if you don't see what you need. They sometimes keep these in
several places. I've found the mints in the candy section and the wedding section and
the flower ties in the gift wrap and baby shower sections. I found the tumblers on a
display at the front of the store. I simply tied the ribbon around the cup and threaded
one of the ribbons through a hole I punched in the tag.

At the end of the year, squirrelly kids mean squirrelly teachers!
I made these little gifts for my teammates and our office staff.
I found the Zero bars at Quick Trip.

I hope you can use these to thank your friends and helpers!
Your tags are super cute! Do you give instructions on how to make them or something similar?
ReplyDeleteHi Jill,
ReplyDeleteI just updated the post with directions and you can download the tags by clicking on the link.
Yes thank you. I think I meant to say was instruction on the actual design making of the thanks a mint card. Layouts and graphics etc.. Do you use publisher, powerpoint, word?
DeleteI made these in Powerpoint and saved them as a PDF. I insert the graphics, in this case the frames, and adjust to the size I want then add text boxes and move them to place the text. I hope that helps! :0)
DeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteThese are so adorable! What a great parent gift!!
Maribel
Great gift tags! I especially love the Zero Days!
ReplyDeleteHey Linda! Thanks. I made tags for my fellow aides and teachers that say "Hope your summer is BANANAS" as I am giving a banana bread to all. These are great for our office staff and custodial staff! Mine are not as intricate as yours, but I hope to learn how to make them!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute idea, Jill!
