Classroom Catch Up Old and New!

Happy Sunday, off on Monday! I really needed this three-day weekend to catch up
at home and at school!  Even though I'm almost nowhere near caught up at home
or at school I thought I could at least catch up here!  You have to pick your battles, right?
Well, here's some of the old stuff we've been up to....

We finished our Stellaluna Common Core Book Study last week and my class
LOVED all of our literacy centers and writing projects.

You can see more of our whole group lessons and class charts {HERE}

The week before, we had our Halloween math party! We used a combination of
goodies from Hope King's Spooktacular Halloween Math Centers and my
FrankenLine Number Line Math Centers  The kids even got to trick or treat
at each table!

Click on the picture to find Hope's Halloween centers and save them for next year!

I love doing holiday centers and using candy as math manipulatives!

I found this haunted house chip and dip tray at
Fresh 'n Easy a couple of years ago.  I'm always on the lookout
for new trays to use.  If it's got three sections.....
I'm all over it!

Now for the new stuff!

I made these for my K-1 teacher friends!

I had a request for a K-1 version of the the place value puzzles in my
new Mayflower Math Centers and came up with these!

The pack includes 20 number puzzles with both tally marks and math facts
and makes a perfect little math station for your K-1 Pilgrim and Pirate units!
You can find them in my TPT shop!

And speaking of NEW!
Meg at Fourth Grade Studio is having an ALL NEW Giveaway you
won't want to miss!

There are five days to enter and Monday is the Grade 2-3 Giveaway!
I've donated a little surprise from my store so head over now
enter to win !

Happy Sunday, no school Monday
my friends!
