Action Adventures and a Belated Celebration!

Hi bloggy friends! I've been MIA for a bit while we moved and were at the mercy of the internet installer! Boy, moving in July in Arizona is.not.fun.  Our internet friend just left and here I am already sending this post!  I was thrilled to discover that I've reached 100 followers!
I truly appreciate each one of you and all of the emails and kind words you have left!  I'm planning a belated celebration with a giveaway but since I have never done anything like this before I'm not sure how!  I'll be seeing my "go to girl-genius" Michelle at our bloggy meet-up tomorrow so I'll get back to you on the details!

In other news....  I've had this on my list for  a while now and  finished it a couple of weeks ago. I meant to share it with you before I was "unplugged" but time and the days got away from me!
Action Adventures! Starring -tion and -ture!
It includes 6 center activities for working with -tion and -ture and a *super* cute
writing craftivity.  Students work with motion picture action heros, capture nature in action, build "reel" words and a whole lot more!

You can find Action Adventures! Starring -tion and -ture at my
TPT or TN shop by clicking either button!

  2. Your new unit looks great! I am an Arizona teacher also...teaching second grade. I just started my blog and would love to link up. I feel so overwhelmed with the new Common Core Standards and am having a hard time figuring out where to begin. I know it will all come once our district puts our quarterly pacing guides together and our team meets to plan, just getting antsy:)

    1. Hi Amy! Good for you for starting a blog! Where in AZ are you?

I feel the same way as you about CCSS! My district has finished the pacing guides, but don't have any trainings planned. I would feel a lot more comfortable if we did!

You can email me if you need help with your blog, although I am very new at this myself! It's only been 2 months since I started blogging! kamp.linda@gmail.com

I also have a code you can use to leave a link to your blog when you comment on other blogs if you would like.
