FrankenLine! Common Core Halloween Fun!

Hi friends!  I wanted to share some math centers that I've been working on. I can't wait to use these with my kids!  (I have the funniest little collective sense of humor in my class this year!)  I usually stay away from the "Halloween" themes and go more for a "Fall" theme because I know Halloween isn't for everybody, but this idea was just too fun to pass up!
So...... meet FrankenLine!

Students use a number line to practice skip counting and using compensation strategies to
solve word probems and determine elapsed time.

I *LOVE* the Frankie hands (made by my friend Michelle at 3AM Teacher. Thank you, Michelle!)

It's a funny thing about money and Common Core.  Working with money is not included in the standards for Kindergarten, first or third grade, so as a second grade teacher I'm making sure my kids have plenty of opportunity for practice!
