Be My Chocolate Valentine! There are 8 chocolate-themed math and literacy centers,
with all the chocolatey goodness your students need to practice prefixes & suffixes,
synonyms, syllable word building, parts of speech, place value, coordinate graphing,
plane shapes, and addition and subtraction!
Last year, my kids LOVED doing these activities for our party!
After everyone delivered their Valentines of course!
Be my chocolate valentine and check them out on
We'll also be doing this sweet little writing craftivity and hanging them on our door!
My class LOVES it when I incorporate pictures of them in any activitiy!
We'll start with a mini-lesson on the history of Valentine's Day
then define a valentine. The next day we'll categorize the attributes of a valentine.
I project the anchor charts on my SMARTBoard
for modeling, but you can also print and display them.
On the third day, my kiddos will write about the ways they show they care
for their loved ones and make this cutie-patootie Valentine craft!
Two versions of handwriting lines are included.
You can purchase this little cutie for your class for $3.50 in my stores:
